A Weekend Away

With no kids at home this weekend, we decided to head for the cabin in Lowman in hopes to relax and see the sun and blue sky. Well...we relaxed, saw a glimpse of the sun and saw a few patches of blue. It was a great weekend! We found snowshoes in the closet and decided to give them a try (1st time for both of us). What a blast! It was such a nice day...not too cold and a light dusting of snow coming down. Lavon had the camera and decided to take pictures of me everytime I hit the ground. I never got any of him tripping or sliding or looking silly. Maybe next time!

Fishing...

We took the kids to Wilson Ponds out in Nampa today for a fun-filled fishing adventure! Surprisingly each one caught a little fishy and were more than thrilled. It was a quick trip as the attention span for watching the line of a pole dangle in the water is short, not too exciting, fish weren't really biting, and it was a tad chilly. Nonetheless we all enjoyed ourselves and no one got hurt!
